Welcome and brightest blessings,

Folklore was born in 2024, and is run by myself, Kate. Most of the items you see in our little shop have been handmade from scratch. We use the finest quality ingredients, and create most of our items using traditional methods and age old techniques in small batches. 

With a keen interest in herb folklore, most of the dried botanicals that dress our beeswax candlesticks are grown in our courtyard garden or locally foraged. 

 

We are based in an old medieval market town, nestled in between the rolling hills, ancient castles ruins and Neolithic chambers of South Wales.

We take inspiration from the old ways, British myths, legends, traditional green witchcraft, Paganism, Medieval history and celebrate our customs, rich stories and the beautiful nature around us.
